Opening of a CDS Account for Local Individuals

1. You should be a resident of Sri Lanka and be over 18 years of age to proceed.
2. You will need your National Identity Card[NIC] & a Document confirming the bank account detail
3. If your permanent address differs from your NIC, you will need a recently (within 3 months) dated proof of residency document to confirm the address
4. You will need to capture a Selfie as per the selfie guideline given within the app
5. If there are any discrepancies between the English words in this application and Sinhala and/or Tamil translation, the English version will prevail. All fields to be completed should be filled only in English
